These lines became my companion in the second semester as soon as it begun (lines are taken from a song by Jalebee Cartel). I was asking myself all the time why was I here? Still had not got through summers, was not doing as well as the others in academics……… The walks kept getting longer. I even discovered where the pimps of Hinjewadi stood and did their business. I finally started discovering the area I had stayed for some 8-9 months. Was getting more time to myself as the number of classes had decreased and plus the entire campus was preparing for the management festival we were having in the month of November. As a member of the entrepreneurship cell we were in-charge of handling the Business Plan Event. One night we had to code all the 183 b-plans which had come in (as the judges were not supposed to know which college had sent in the entry). We called in reinforcements from the batch. During the night Dillai and I decided to go for a walk (if I remember right it was around 3 am). We went to a floor above us to see what color doors they had….. What we saw…… a girl and a guy making out……..guess will never again go to uncharted waters again. The night ended at 6 am right in time for non academics…….
Everyone in the first semester was very curious to know which girl I liked……. I named her Dazzler!!!! Some people like Bam Bam said to me “what kind of wired name is that?” Anyways I was not letting any secrets out. Ritz and Ahen used to bug me everyday to find out who I liked. So much so that they even got the word Dazzler written on my birthday cake. I finally did get the courage to tell her (Yes Ritz she is from SCMHRD)…….. Best part is no one knows still who I like……I guess it was Dazzler had to ask me only once who I liked and one message at 2 in the night to tell her I like her……. I respect her for the fact that she has not let the secret out so far (best to my knowledge). I have never asked her out till date……….
